Facets of Money

Money is a life force, like water. Money makes it possible for each living human to exchange their effort for items of sustenance like food, shelter and clothing. If a young mind can understand this fundamental role of money and the different forms in which it exists, it sets the tone for a lifetime of healthy relationship with money. It is the difference between a newby negotiating a huge water body such as the sea without training versus a person understanding the difference between a pool, pond, river, sea and ocean so they can choose what they want to navigate and in which vessel.

Basics of a Savings Plan

You don’t have to wait for your BBA or MBA to start thinking of Money in a healthy way. Preparing a savings plan follows simple rules of logic and basic knowledge of different savings instruments. All that remains to learn then is how to create a template or a structure within which to identify and plug in all of the ways you will store your money-worth. A plan is a projection. You could plan to save money over a month, half a year, one year, two years or even five years. You learn all this and more.

Project Work Experience
  • Prepare your life’s first money saving plan. We want to instil confidence in every student that they can be the next Warren Buffett and make parents confident that their ward will survive and thrive in this challenging world.
  • Thus, this project work involves using the learning from module 1 and 2 and then presenting the ideas and rationale behind why you chose to structure your savings plan in a certain way. It makes you a thinking agent. Makes you purpose driven.
  • Maybe you prepared the savings plan for your college tuition fee, or for a holiday with friends or for a playstation. Sky is the limit for how much you can save and what you wish to save towards. So get going. There are no wrong answers. Even a little bit of saving goes a long way.
  • What’s an ocean but a multitude of drops.
